The passenger told investigators he was a courier and that the drug suppliers were Travis Henry and James Mack. The information referred to Henry as "the money guy", and added he was owed $40,000 from a previous drug deal in which the drugs were stolen.
According to the indictment, Henry was threatening the informant and his family, saying they were "all dead" if they did not come up with the money. The informant also agreed to meet with Henry and Mack. Investigators monitored that, and subsequent conversations, the indictment said.
Authorities set up future drug deals involving five kilos of cocaine, due to arrive in Denver Tuesday night. The indictment states that Henry agreed to purchase two kilos of cocaine for $40,000.
On Tuesday night, Henry and Mack met the informant at his house and allegedly took possession of six kilos of cocaine.
As they left, law enforcement officers tried to arrest the pair but say Henry fled.
He was caught a few houses away and arrested.
