A Florida dog was just moments away from becoming a shark's latest meal when the dog's owner decided to take action."It opened up its mouth and Jake, almost his whole body, went in."
Greg LeNoir says his dog Jake was just enjoying a swim when the shark attacked.
That's when he jumped in the water and started punching the back of the shark's neck.
The shark finally let go of Jake, and both the owner and dog swam to safety.
Doctors say the shark's teeth punctured Jake's skin and some muscle, but he is expected to be okay.
