The iSearch PHP search engine allows you to build a searchable database for your web site.
Isearch is open-source text retrieval software first developed in 1994 as part of the Isite Z39.50 information framework.
Isearch are solutions and not services but, for the most part, software packages, programs or libraries.
It was the first search engine to be designed from the ground up to support SGML and ISO 23950 search and retrieval.
By installing the Software, you understand and agree that the Software may, without any further prior notice to you, automatically perform the following: display advertisements of advertisers who pay a fee to iSearch and/or it’s partners, in the form of pop-up ads, pop-under ads, interstitials ads and various other ad formats, display links to and advertisements of related websites based on the information you view and the websites you visit; store non-personally identifiable statistics of the websites you have visited; redirect certain URLs including your browser default 404-error page to or through the Software; provide advertisements, links or information in response to search terms you use at third-party websites; provide search functionality or capabilities; automatically update the Software and install added features or functionality or additional software, including search clients and toolbars, conveniently without your input or interaction; install desktop icons and installation files; install software from iSearch affiliates; and install Third Party Software.
This creates a new database called WEBSITE in the current directory, indexing the files in /web/*.html, parsing them as HTML , and loading 5 MB of data at a time.
Iindex looks up the document_type name in a list of registered C++ classes, or “doctypes” that it calls during both the indexing process and searching.
Unlike other such tools the spidering engine is written in PHP, so it does not require binaries to be run on the server to generate the search index for HTML pages.

No license agreement is displayed during installation, although one could be displayed by another installer if bundled with another application.
I generally refer to the collection of index files for a given data set as “database files,” but they are not related in any way to relational databases.
Adware is any software application in which advertising is displayed while the program is running.
Program that delivers advertisements on your PC.
The main features of Isearch include full text and field searching, relevance ranking, Boolean queries, and support for many document types such as HTML, mail folders, list digests, MEDLINE, BibTeX, SGML/XML, FGDC Metadata, NASA DIF, ANZLIC metadata, ISO 19115 metadata and many other resource types and document formats.

Each description displays the minimum, fully tested, DAT version that includes regular detection for a particular threat.
The Minimum Engine field specifies the lowest/oldest engine version that is capable of detecting this threat.
One of the limiting factors, however, of the Isearch design was that it was not well suited to handle the extremely large data sets that became popular in the mid to late 1990’s.
