NEW YORK, September 17: Scripps Networks’ DIY Network has ordered the 26x30-minute series Man Caves, a makeover show that gives men their own dedicated space at home, from Leopard Films USA.
Hosted by NFL legend Tony “The Goose” Siragusa and DIY expert Jason Cameron, the series transforms basements, spare rooms, garages and dens into state-of-the-art sports lounges, hunting lodges, pool halls and bars. Celebrity specials include Gary Del’abate and Artie Lange from The Howard Stern Show and the rapper Snoop Dogg, with other special guest stars to be announced.
Leopard USA’s VP of programming, Nick Rigg, said, "Man Caves is an exciting show—whereas makeover shows are traditionally the preserve of female viewers, this one appeals directly to the man of the house. Expect a lot of fun as The Goose and the gang challenge even the most ardent sports fan to live up to their Man Cave. Significantly for us as a company, this show allows us to expand our lifestyle expertise to other networks. We've proved we can deliver high-quality, high-volume shows with sister channel HGTV, now we have an opportunity to do the same with DIY Network."
